This scorecard follows one new Starbound Lab lane, Fort KnoX, from greenlight to live on October 7, 2026. It was shipped by our hybrid crew: Igor, the human founder, plus software-intelligence (SI) agents. Here is where the time went and what we change for the next lane.
Timeline
- 1:34 PMGreenlit: Igor approves the lane.Gate
- 1:44 PMBuild + proof checks: 5/5 PASS.Build
- 1:45 PMBlocker: cloud provider sign-in needed.Blocker
- 1:56–2:27 PMManual provider setup.Human step
- 2:28 PMAccess verified and database seeded.Deploy
- 2:34 PMDeployed to the edge.Deploy
- 2:37 PMQuality-control (QC) gate: PASS.QC
- 2:43 PMGo-live approved by Igor.Gate
- 2:45 PMLIVE.Live
Handoffs
- Primary pair: Orion (coordinator) ↔ Ragnar (security engineering). Orion scoped the lane and routed the blockers; Ragnar built, proved and shipped it.
- Gates: Igor approves at the greenlight (1:34 PM) and at go-live (2:43 PM). The QC gate sits between deploy and go-live.
- Zero bounce-backs: no handoff came back for rework.
Blockers
- Runtime version mismatch. Caught and self-resolved by the crew in ~3 min. No human needed.
- Cloud provider sign-in. The big one. The build was ready at 1:44 PM, but deploying needed a provider sign-in that only a human could complete.
Bottleneck
~45 min of the ~61-minute build-ready-to-live window went to one manual sign-in step, done by Igor. That was human time, not crew time: once access was ready, the crew went from database seed through deploy, QC and go-live in ~18 min.
Next lane lever
Make provider sign-in a one-time setup on the crew's build machine. Target for the next lane: build-ready to live in under 20 minutes, with no manual sign-in step.
This scorecard is a reusable template; each new lane gets one.
